We too went to NOLA on vacation in 2001 to celebrate our 15th wedding anniversary, and then, went again in 2002 for Christmas. Never had a better Christmas. New Orleans is not all parties. It's history and beauty, wonderful people, and a great deal of wonderful things to do. Now I am cleaning out closets, researching jobs and rentals on the Internet, and am determined that I will be living there this time next year -- sooner if I have anything to say about it. I haven't been the same since, and though it may sound trite, I DO KNOW WHAT IT MEANS TO MISS NEW ORLEANS. Glad to hear I have so many "soulmates" out there.
