The sites, the sounds, the smells, and the tastes are all wrapped up in my heart to open when days here at home are blue and gray. Your heart would have to be made of ice not to fall in love with New Orleans; there are days when I can feel that grand city calling me. To have been there ounce is to be touched forever by her. It was there that I experienced my first real riverboat ride down the Mighty Mississippi River, tasted my first crawdad, enjoyed beignets and cafe au lait, and had some of the best darn daiquiris there ever were. To the folks that call that great city home, I envy you. Oh yes, thanks for the beads!
